Karnataka BJP chief said- Comments made by Ananthkumar Hegde do not reflect the party’s stand

Bengaluru: Distanced from the controversial comments made by BJP MP Ananthkumar Hegde on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Congress leader Sanjay Gandhi, Karnataka BJP president BY Vijayendra on Monday said that the opinion expressed is fair. Uttara Kannada MPs are their own and do not reflect the party’s stand.

“No matter what, our statements must be serious. The speech should be acceptable to the society. I have taken note of Ananth Kumar Hegde’s statements. I will also talk to him about this.
