Kishan Reddy: CM Revanth forgot election promises, busy collecting RR tax
Hyderabad: Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy alleged that the Congress party has deceived the people with its “misleading election guarantees” which are now laden with conditions. Addressing BJP Mahila Morcha workers at Dharna Chowk on Tuesday, Kishan Reddy said that despite seven months having passed, the Congress government has not fulfilled the promises made during the elections. Except for free travel facility for women in RTC buses, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has not fulfilled a single promise.
He said the Congress has not yet implemented financial assistance of Rs 2,500 per month to women, Rs 15,000 per acre Raithu Bharosa to farmers and tenant farmers, Rs 500 bonus and MSP for paddy and monthly enhanced pension of Rs 4,000 for senior citizens. He further said that under the Kalyan Lakshmi Scheme, the Congress had promised to give Rs 1 lakh and one tola gold to each woman, but no announcement has been made in this regard yet. He alleged that the Chief Minister is busy collecting Rahul-Revanth ‘RR’ tax in the state. He said that the Congress is more interested in collecting money from industrialists and contractors rather than fulfilling the election promises.
