Major accident: Innova washed away in Jejo ravine, 9 people died

Una. A major accident has occurred in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. Here, an Innova car was swept away in the strong current of Jejon Khad on the Punjab-Himachal border. At the time of the accident, a total of 11 people from Dahal village of Una were in the car. Out of these, 9 people died, while 1 other is missing, whose search is going on. At the same time, a young man in the car somehow came out of the water, who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The deceased have been identified as Surjeet, Paramjeet Kaur, Saroop Chand, Binder, Shinno, Bhavana (18), Anju (20) and Harmeet (12) of Mahalpur village. As soon as the news of the incident was received, there was mourning in Dehlan village. It is being told that at the time of the accident, all these people were going to attend a wedding ceremony in Mahalpur Punjab. At the same time, due to heavy rains, the water was in full swing on the ramp of Jejon Khad on the way. When the driver tried to cross the water, the vehicle could not withstand the strong flow of water and it overturned and got swept away into the ditch.
