Medak: Burnt body of missing person found

Sangareddy: The carbonized body of a man who was allegedly abducted by unidentified persons from near his house in Andole-Jogipet municipality on Friday was found on the outskirts of Ramayampet mandal village in Konapur in Medak district. , Saturday morning.

Papannapet Mallesham (27) lived in a colony of two-room houses in the city. Mallesham and his wife Kalpana ran a laundry. He had kept a bag of rice in his scooter, according to reports, some people took it away in an automobile, leaving his two-wheeler, the bag of rice and his shoes behind. When they saw the abandoned vehicle, locals called Kalpana, who alerted the Jogipet police.

According to reports, to avoid being caught on CCTV cameras, his kidnappers cut off the power supply to the transformer. After initial investigation, the police came to know that Mallesham was murdered before his arrest. Jogipet police is investigating.
