Meet woman on matrimonial site, then rape woman in hotel and make video
Thane: A man living in Singapore contacted a 33-year-old woman on a matrimonial site in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. After this, he called the woman to meet her at several places on the pretext of marriage, where he raped her. The woman has complained about this matter to the police. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
According to the information, a 33-year-old woman resident of Navi Mumbai had seen a man from Singapore on the matrimonial site. After this both of them contacted about marriage. The accused, living in Singapore, talked about marriage with the woman and invited her to meet him at many places.
The woman has alleged in the complaint that between December 2020 and March 2023, the accused called her to meet her in lodges and hotels in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai and Singapore, where she was raped several times.
Police say that the woman had contact with the accused on a matrimonial site. The accused promised to marry her. Regarding this, he had called to meet at different places.
The accused also allegedly took objectionable photographs of the woman and made a video. Police said that at present no arrest has been made in this case. Further investigation is being done.
