minor girl found dead in government hostel

Chikkamagaluru (IANS). A minor girl student was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Thursday at a government hostel in Koppa town of Chikkamagaluru district in Karnataka.

According to the police, 14-year-old Amulya, a resident of Narve village in Koppa taluk, was found hanging from the toilet door at the Government Morarji Hostel.

The parents of the Class IX student have alleged foul play in the incident.

Statements of hostel mates and friends of Amulya are being recorded in connection with the incident.
