NationalFilmAwards2023, Allu Arjun gets the Best Actor award
New Delhi: It has been a month since the 69th National Film Awards were announced. This award was given to all the winners on 17 October at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. Alia Bhatt, Pankaj Tripathi and Kriti Sanon reached the capital city for this function. All three stars were awarded the National Award for their excellent acting. During this time many big Bollywood stars were present there. Also, Allu Arjun also became a part of this ceremony. He is the first South actor to receive this honour.
On this occasion, veteran film industry actress Waheeda Rehman was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. He was awarded the country’s biggest award for his contribution to the film industry. President Draupadi Murmu covered him with a shawl and also gave him an award. On this occasion, all the stalwarts sitting in Vigyan Bhawan stood up and welcomed Waheeda with applause. The whole place echoed with thunderous applause.
After this Waheeda also gave a thank you speech. He said- Thank you all. You gave me this award. I am feeling very honoured. The position where I stand today is all because of my industry. I got the support of very good directors, producers, music composers. Make-up and costume artists also have a big role in this journey. I want to thank everyone. One person cannot make the complete picture. Everyone has a hand. I thank everyone.
