Naxalites are targeting BJP leaders to stop development: Home Minister Vijay Sharma
Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma has termed the murder of BJP leader Tirupati Katla in Bijapur as a cowardly act of Naxalites. He said that in view of the elections, BJP leaders are being targeted so that they cannot go deep into Bastar and campaign.
Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma, while discussing the murder of BJP leader Katla with the media, said that even before Bijapur, BJP people have been targeted. Elections are ahead, proceedings against Naxalites have increased. In such a situation, Naxalites are doing this to create fear.
He said that BJP workers could not go deep into Bastar for campaigning, hence such incidents are happening, which is wrong and should not happen. Along with this he said that whatever happens, Vishnudev government is there. It is our commitment to ensure that the Ganga of development reaches every corner of Bastar. Any such obstacles that arise will be removed.
