Kaithal. The dead body of a newborn girl was found lying in the water on the banks of the Johad in Khedi Sheru village of Kaithal district of Haryana. Police have registered a case against the unknown woman who threw the girl child into the Johad on the complaint of the village sarpanch. Anil Kumar, a resident of village Khedi Sheru, lodged a complaint with the Titaram police station that he is the current sarpanch of the village. On July 19, at around 06:30 in the morning, he had gone for a walk near Nahar Wala Talab Songal Road. Many people of the village were standing there. A newborn girl was lying in the dead water on the banks of the Johad. The complainant alleged that some woman had thrown the new born child into the Johad. Due to this, the newborn died due to drowning in water. Investigating officer Dharampal said that the police have registered a case against the unknown accused. The case is being investigated.
