NIA busts ISIS terrorist conspiracy, raids 44 places in Karnataka and Maharashtra
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is currently conducting raids at around 44 locations covering Karnataka and Maharashtra. According to media reports, these operations are related to the investigation of a conspiracy hatched by the global terrorist group ISIS, which aims to carry out terrorist attacks across the country, news agency ANI reported. Among the places under NIA investigation, searches have been conducted at one place in Karnataka, two in Pune, 31 in Thane Rural, nine in Thane city and one in Bhayandar. The NIA’s extensive efforts are aimed at thwarting the terrorist organization’s plans to spread violence and terror within India.
