Notice will be given to Patwaris, Collector in action mode against those who are negligent

Durg. Collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena took a review meeting of the Revenue Department in the Collectorate Hall. During this, the Collector asked to take strict action against DJ playing too loudly. He talked about banning DJs who produce sound more than the prescribed standard. Action will be taken if the standards set for sound are violated on the occasion of any wedding or other festival.

During this, he instructed all the SDMs to get the speakers of the DJ causing noise pollution checked with a noise meter. If someone uses a DJ for his personal use, then he should play it within the prescribed standards only. If someone uses a DJ then his limit should not be more than 75 decibels from the ambient sound scale of that area. The Collector asked the revenue officers to update the resolved and unresolved cases of demarcation in the software on priority.

During this, he asked the officers who were delaying in resolving the departmental cases beyond the time limit, to discharge their responsibilities on top priority. Also asked to issue notice to the Patwaris who are negligent in revenue related work. He asked for the pending cases of demarcation cases to be completed at the earliest.

In the meeting, he reviewed all the pending cases related to undisputed land transfer, division, demarcation, revenue collection, map division, diversion and land acquisition. Asked to quickly resolve the cases registered in the court pending for 6 months to 1 year
