One person arrested for making obscene video of a minor
Bijnor: Noorpur police station in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh has arrested a man for allegedly raping a 15-year-old minor girl and making obscene videos. He was identified as Amandeep Singh alias Sajan, son of Karanjit Singh, resident of Roshanpur Jagir village.
According to the police, the girl’s mother lodged a complaint on October 28 that her daughter was alone at home. Meanwhile, the accused coaxed the girl and took her to a secluded place, raped her and recorded a disgusting video of her.
When she protested, they threatened to kill the girl and played an obscene video. This incident came to light when the accused shared a disgusting video of the girl. After the video went viral, the victim narrated her ordeal to her mother. After this the victim’s mother reached the police and lodged a report.
Noorpur Superintendent of Police (SHO) Sanjay Kumar said, Amandeep has been arrested. Steps were taken to register an FIR against the accused under provisions of Rape Act and POCSO.
