Order to close liquor shop on this day

Gariaband. Collector Akash Chikara has declared 15 August 2023 as a dry day in the district on the occasion of Independence Day. Instructions have been given to keep all country and foreign liquor shops and liquor warehouses closed in the district on dry days.

It has been said in the issued order that there should be no illegal manufacture, possession, transportation, buying, selling, storage and smuggling of liquor from any authorized and unauthorized places in the said dry day, keeping complete control over it and strictly prohibiting receiving complaints.
