Prime Minister Modi got arrested, Congress leader claimed in Naidu case

Hyderabad. Congress leader Madhu Gaur Yaskhi has alleged that former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are behind the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. He claimed that he has full knowledge that Naidu has been arrested by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government of Andhra Pradesh as part of a conspiracy by KCR and Modi. He alleged that efforts for Naidu’s release on bail were also being stopped. Telangana campaign committee president Yaskhi told reporters that KCR had spent hundreds of crores of rupees for Jagan Mohan Reddy’s victory in the 2019 elections. He said that there has been a kind of enmity between Naidu and Modi after the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) left the BJP-led NDA. Naidu was arrested by the Andhra Pradesh Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on September 9 in the alleged Skill Development Corporation scam. He is currently in judicial custody. The former MP said that Congress Party’s national spokesperson and general secretary Jairam Ramesh has already clarified the party’s stand on this issue. He had said that in case of any crime, proper legal procedure should be followed. Telangana Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has already condemned Naidu’s arrest. Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee working president N. Tulsi Reddy also found fault in the arrest of the TDP leader. He said that if there was indeed a case, he should have been given prior information. Tulsi Reddy also said that the Congress has decided to extend solidarity with Naidu.
