Prisoner dies after suffering from chest pain in jail

Ambedkar Nagar. A prisoner serving life imprisonment in the district jail died during treatment on Thursday. It is said that the prisoner suddenly felt pain in his chest, after which he was taken to the district hospital for treatment, where he died. The police, who arrived on the information, took the body of the prisoner in custody and sent it for post-mortem.

Let us tell you that Arshad Umr 40 son of Akram, a resident of Ratanpur in Akbarpur Kotwali area, was serving life imprisonment in the district jail since 2018 on the charge of rape. Deputy Jailer Chhote Lal said that the prisoner also attended the attendance as usual in the morning, but at around seven in the morning, on the complaint of severe pain in the chest of the prisoner, medicines were given by the pharmacist present in the jail. After which when the prisoner did not get relief, he was immediately taken to the district hospital and admitted. Where the prisoner died during treatment.

Akbarpur Kotwali in-charge Birendra Bahadur Singh said that the body of the deceased prisoner has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. At the same time, information about the case has also been sent to the relatives of the deceased prisoner.
