Rampur: Father dies of heart attack after son’s arrest, panic among officers
55 year old father Taslim suffered a heart attack after seeing his son being interrogated in the police station. He has been taken to Moradabad in critical condition. Where he died. After this, for security reasons, police from various police stations of the district have been deployed on the spot. City resident Tasleem (55) is having a dispute with his relative.
Regarding this, his relative had filed a complaint against his son Nadeem in the police station. After this the police reached his house to interrogate him. It is alleged that Tanda police took Nadeem with them to the police station and started interrogating him. When his son was caught by the police, Taslim also reached the police station.
Where he saw Nadeem in custody, he suffered a heart attack. Due to this the officers got frustrated. The police personnel and his son Nadeem immediately took Tasleem to the Community Health Center. Where the doctor referred him to a higher centre.
When Taslim’s condition became critical, he was put on ventilator. Where he died. After post-mortem, the family brought the body to Tanda. On receiving information about his father’s death, Tasleem’s son working in Saudi Arabia has left to attend the last rites.
In view of the anger arising among the people due to Taslim’s death, police force is deployed in all the main intersections of the city and Mohalla Maniharan. Area officer Omkar Nath Sharma completely denied the allegations and said that based on the complaint, the police went to interrogate the youth. Neither father nor son reached the police station.
Laborer hit by wheel while getting off bus, dies
Nasir Mansoori (52) died after getting crushed under the wheels of a roadways bus in Milak. He was returning home on Sunday night after attending a wedding ceremony in Kichha. Nasir Mansoori, a resident of Islamnagar locality of the city, used to work as a laborer at a brick kiln.
He had gone to Kichha to attend the wedding ceremony. After attending the wedding, he reached Bareilly and from there was returning to the meeting in a roadways bus. The bus reached Milak at around 2:30 pm on Sunday night. As soon as he got off the bus, the driver drove the bus, due to which he fell and came under the wheels of the bus.
He was admitted to CHC in injured condition. He was referred to the district hospital in critical condition, where he died. The deceased left behind his wife, four daughters and two sons.
