Roaming around in the bike was selling liquor, the youth was arrested
Raipur. Sanju Yadav, accused of illegally consuming liquor, has been arrested. According to the information, police station Kharora received information that some people riding in a two-wheeler near Bhandarpuri Road, Basti Mod, village Bhainsa, under police station Kharora area, have kept liquor with them and are looking for a customer to sell. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Kharora, the team of police station Kharora went to the said place told by the informer and identified the vehicle and the person’s appearance and caught him. During interrogation, the person told his name to be Sanju Yadav resident of Kharora Raipur, along with his other companions Vicky Kashyap, Suresh Kharole and Shubham Soni, was told to look for a customer for liquor sale.
When the team members searched Sanju Yadav’s two-wheeler, liquor was found in the vehicle. On demanding valid documents from the accused Sanju Yadav in relation to keeping and selling liquor, efforts were being made to mislead the team members by not presenting any document by him. On which the accused Sanju Yadav was arrested and kept illegally from his possession by seizing 292 pauwa country liquor and the two-wheeler number CG/04/MJ/6785 worth about Rs.35,000/- in police station Kharora against the accused under Section 34( 2) Action was taken against the accused by registering the offense of Excise Act. The other accused involved in the case, Vicky Kashyap, Suresh Kharole and Shubham Soni are absconding and all possible efforts are being made to trace them and arrest them.
