Scorpio riders carrying Rs 1 crore cash caught, interrogation continues

Balodabazar. In view of the elections, continuous checking is going on in the district. Just four days before the second phase of elections, the police and FST team got a big success in Khartora Naka. One crore twelve lakh rupees cash has been seized from a Scorpio. This matter is of Palari police station area.

The people sitting in the Scorpio were questioned about such a huge amount and documents were asked. Due to which the required documents were not shown, the cash was confiscated. Regarding the incident, SSP Deepak Jha said that vehicles were being checked at Khartora Naka check post.

Meanwhile, during the investigation of Scorpio vehicle, one crore twelve lakh rupees in cash was found. When asked, the people sitting in it said that they belonged to CMS company and were going to deposit money in the ATM. Due to such huge amount of money and lack of security arrangements, the amount has been seized due to non-production of required documents and further investigation is underway.
