Shahrukh Khan congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the success of G-20
New Delhi: Actor Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, “Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the success of India’s G-20 presidency and promoting unity among countries for a better future for the people of the world.”
The G-20 Summit being held in the capital under the chairmanship of India is being considered the most successful summit till date. On the first day of this conference, G-20 leaders discussed serious challenges and took many decisions. In this, the launch of the Middle East Europe Connectivity Corridor and the entry of the African Union was approved, while on the second day also all the countries included in the group adopted the New Delhi Declaration. PM Narendra Modi shared this information.
Consensus on New Delhi Declaration
The ‘New Delhi Leaders Summit Declaration’ has been adopted with everyone’s consent among the G-20 member countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared this information while addressing the second session of the summit at Bharat Mandapam. He said that we have just received good news that due to the hard work of our teams and your cooperation, a consensus has been reached on the New Delhi G-20 Leaders Summit Declaration. I would like to thank my ministers, Sherpas and all the officials who made this possible with their hard work. It is noteworthy that earlier there were difficulties in getting this manifesto approved due to the Russia-Ukraine issue.
India Middle East Europe Connectivity Corridor launched on the first day of G-20 Summit. The biggest benefit from this will be that the infra deal will reduce shipping time and cost, making business cheaper and faster. It is being presented as an alternative to China’s Belt and Road project. The objective of this corridor is to integrate railway routes and port linkages extending from India to Europe via the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel. Rail link can speed up trade between India and Europe by about 40%. The consent of the member countries to this proposal of India is no less than a big blow for China. This announcement has dealt a big blow to China’s project BRI, which India has already been opposing.
