Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty-starrer ‘Indian Police Force’ to release on January 19
Mumbai: The makers of Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi starrer action-packed series ‘Indian Police Force’ on Saturday said the show will release on January 19, 2024.
On the occasion of Police Remembrance Day, the makers announced the premiere date of the 7-part series ‘Indian Police Force’ produced by Rohit Shetty and directed by Rohit and Sushant Prakash as a tribute to the tireless commitment of Indian police officers.
The series will be Shetty’s digital directorial debut, starring Siddharth in a police avatar in the lead role. It also stars Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Lalit Parimu in lead roles.
Talking about this, Rohit said: “‘Indian Police Force’ is an integral part of my journey as a producer in the cop-verse, which I and my team at Rohit Shetty Pictures have created after years of hard work and commitment. Made together.”
The filmmaker said, “I am extremely proud of our cast and crew who worked together dedicatedly to present this action series that honors the valor, sacrifice and courage of our Indian police officers.”
The series celebrates the selfless service, unconditional commitment and fierce patriotism of Indian police officers across the country, who risk everything at the call of duty to keep us safe.
Sharing the poster on social media, Siddharth wrote, “Location clear! Target Lock! The force is coming! Rohit Shetty reporting for Universe Cop, armed and ready to strike!”
In the caption of the poster, Shilpa wrote, “When the siren sounds, understand that the band of crime will play… the police has come!” Paying tribute to our Indian Police on Police Memorial Day, the show is a tribute to their bravery, selfless service, unwavering commitment and fierce patriotism.”
‘Indian Police Force’ will premiere on Prime Video on January 19, 2024.
