SP is unable to handle the alliance, another party left
Lucknow: The opposition ‘India’ alliance formed for the Lok Sabha elections has now started disintegrating. After Apna Dal (Kameravadi), now Janwadi Party (Socialist) has also left the Samajwadi Party.
Angered by not getting ticket from Ghosi, Janwadi Party (Socialist) has decided to contest the elections alone. Party President Dr. Sanjay Singh Chauhan said while talking to IANS that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is talking about PDA, but is ignoring the leaders with PDA’s support base and not giving them seats. Who will stay with them?
Chauhan said that in 2019 the party was with SP and he had lost from Chaundauli by a small margin. He said that now there will be no talk with Akhilesh and ‘India’ alliance. Our party will now contest the elections alone. At present we have decided candidates for 14 seats. Now strengthening our ideology. Determined to contest the elections alone. He himself will contest the elections from Ghosi.
Janwadi Party had an alliance with SP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. SP had fielded Sanjay Singh Chauhan on its election symbol from Chandauli Lok Sabha seat. But he lost to BJP by 13,959 votes. This time he was seeking ticket from Ghosi Lok Sabha seat. SP has given ticket to Rajiv Rai. Due to this he was angry. He announced breaking the alliance with SP.
It is noteworthy that first Rashtriya Lok Dal has broken its ties with SP and joined hands with BJP. Now she is contesting elections on two seats. Similarly, Apna Dal Kamerawadi has accused him of neglect. Now Janwadi Party (Socialist) also decided to break its ties with SP and contest the elections alone.
