Students came on the road demanding to conduct nursing examinations in MP
Bhopal (IANS). Angry students of Madhya Pradesh’s nursing colleges sat on a dharna when they were stopped from gheraoing the Raj Bhavan due to non-conduct of examinations for the last three years. During this, there was a scuffle between the students and the police.
On the call of NSUI, hundreds of students gathered near Jaypee Hospital and marched towards Raj Bhavan, alleging scams and non-examinations in nursing colleges of the state, when the police stopped them by placing barricades. The agitating students gathered on the road for several hours.
The students allege that the nursing course is of two years and even after three years, the first year examination has not been held. The future of the students has become bleak. The student is forced to bear mental harassment.
