The Chief Minister alleged that the central BJP government is destroying the Constitution.

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin accused the central BJP government of distorting the principles of the Indian Constitution to suit its own interests.
The centenary celebrations of the Communist Party of India were held at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai on Sunday. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin attended the event as a special guest and said: “The sole objective of both the Dravidian movement and the Communist movement is to ensure that everyone receives everything they are entitled to. The friendship between these two movements transcends electoral politics. This friendship can defeat fascism, dictatorship, and communalism. But those who oppose these objectives have tried to break our unity. But they have not succeeded.
The central BJP government is working to dismantle all the values that the country has upheld so far. It is altering the principles of the Constitution to suit its own agenda. The BJP’s ideology is a narrow one of one religion, one language, one culture, and one leadership. It is trying to destroy the diversity of the country and turn it into a monolithic state. Along with plundering the resources of the states, the central BJP government believes that states should have no power. The BJP gets angry when it hears words like secularism, equality, social justice, and communal harmony.
India is in a very serious crisis. If the BJP had won the 400 seats it hoped for in the Lok Sabha elections, the situation would be even worse than it is now. But by forming an alliance with democratic forces, we have slowed down the BJP’s momentum. Despite not having a majority, the BJP is still engaging in actions that are against democracy.
The upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections are crucial for Tamil Nadu and the National Democratic Alliance. The BJP has betrayed Tamil Nadu many times and has co-opted those who agree with it. It has threatened and intimidated them by using the Enforcement Directorate, Income Tax Department, and CBI. This is why AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami is going a step further than Prime Minister Narendra Modi in making promises.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about a double-engine government. The Dravidian model of governance has made Tamil Nadu the most developed state.” Opinion polls indicate that support for the DMK government is increasing as a result. However, the alliance parties should not become complacent. Our campaign must be intensified. He said that the victory we can achieve in Tamil Nadu should give hope to the whole of India that we can defeat the BJP.
T. Raja, the All India General Secretary of the Communist Party of India, said: It was the Communist Party of India that raised the slogan of complete independence. It had to endure much for this. The Communist Party has never been defeated. If the Communist Party of India has grown to this extent today, Tamil Nadu’s role in this is very significant.
He said that the BJP should not be allowed to gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu. They must be defeated. Any party that aligns with them should also be defeated.
The event was attended by Communist Party of India National Secretary Ramakrishna Panda, Aniraja, Central Control Committee member I. Mutharasan, State Secretary M. Veerapandian, State Control Committee Chairman K. Subbarayan, Tamil Nadu Congress President K. Selvaperunthagai, Marxist State Secretary P. Shanmugam, MDMK General Secretary Vaiko, VCK President Thol. Thirumavalavan, Dravidar Kazhagam President K. Veeramani, Tamil Nadu Vazhvurimai Party President Velmurugan, Humanity Peoples Party President M. H. Jawahirullah, Makkal Needhi Maiam General Secretary Arunachalam, Adi Tamilar Peravai President Athiyaman, and others.
