Chandrababu’s plan to exploit in the name of Amaravati: YS Jagan

Amaravati: YSRCP chief and former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has made it clear that they are not against the AP capital Amaravati. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of making it a place to exploit in the name of Amaravati. He spoke at a media conference held at his Tadepalli residence on Wednesday.
They criticized the fact that one lakh acres are being acquired for the construction of the capital Amaravati, and that it will require Rs. 2 lakh crore for the construction, which is an impossible task in practice. They stated that they should consider whether the state can afford that much cost, and that they objected so that the burden should not fall on the people.
He said that the government was advised that the capital would be located between Plan B Mavigan (Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur) and that there was also a national highway required for that. However, he said that Chandrababu did not like this proposal.
He accused Amaravati of being the capital for his scams and the rates of his benami lands, even though he knew that the development of the capital was impossible. He revealed that there was no selfishness or narrow-mindedness in the decision to have three capitals during the YSRCP regime.
