The President appointed new governors of these two states

New Delhi (ANI): Das is the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, who is from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has also been the President of Jharkhand BJP twice. President Draupadi Murmu has appointed Raghubar Das as the Governor of Odisha and Indra Sena Reddy Nallu as the Governor of Tripura.
An official statement issued by the President’s Secretariat on Wednesday said, “The President of India is pleased to make the following appointments: – Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu as the Governor of Tripura and Shri Raghubar Das as the Governor of Odisha. “
“The above appointments will be effective from the date they assume charge of their respective offices,” the statement said.
Raghubar Das has been appointed as the 26th Governor of Odisha.

Das is a former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
He has also been the President of Jharkhand BJP twice.
Currently, Ganeshi Lal serves as the 25th Governor of Odisha.
He was sworn in as the Governor of Odisha in 2018.
Indra Sena Reddy Nallu is the national secretary of BJP and has been a three-time MLA in Andhra Pradesh.
Currently, Satyadev Narayan Arya serves as the 19th Governor of Tripura.
He is a BJP leader from Bihar and has previously served as the Governor of Haryana. (ANI)
