Raipur. Chhattisgarh BJP has finalised the names of candidates for ten municipal corporations. The party has given ticket to Ramnaresh Rai from Chirmiri, who is an advocate by profession and has been an officer in the BJP legal cell. Ramnaresh, who once contested as an independent councillor, got only four votes.
The post of mayor in the municipal corporation is reserved for the general category, but the BJP has fielded an OBC candidate from here. There were more than 40 contenders here but Ramnaresh Rai finally got the ticket. After getting the ticket, he reached the BJP office. Here the workers along with Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal congratulated him.
Let us tell you that Chirmiri is not only the assembly constituency of Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal but also his home district and his local residence, now in such a situation it is obvious that his reputation is also at stake.
