There will be dry day on the day of counting of votes

Ambikapur : The counting date of Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023, December 3, 2023, has been declared a dry day by the Collector and District Magistrate in the counting venue area. Using the powers conferred in sub-section (1) of Section 24 of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act 1915, on behalf of the Collector and the District Magistrate,

the counting date of the Assembly Elections 2023 in the district is 3 December 2023, at the counting venue area of the district, Municipal Corporation Ambikapur. All the country/foreign liquor shops located (country liquor shop Ambikapur, foreign liquor shop Gangapur, Subhash Nagar and Bauripara), 62nd Battalion FL-8 and country liquor storage warehouse Ambikapur have been ordered to remain closed. Any kind of liquor transaction will be completely banned during the dry period.
