Thieves Throw Chilli Powder In Madhya Pradesh Farmers Eyes Rob Rs 25 Lakh

Thieves have gone on a rampage in Ashok Nagar district of Madhya Pradesh. They hit a farmer in the eyes with chilli powder and robbed him of Rs. lakhs. The incident took place in Tamoiya Chak village. The details given by the police in this regard are as follows.
Lakhwinder, a 47-year-old farmer from the village, left his house on a bike with Rs. 25 lakhs to give to a relative in Ashoknagar. Three thieves stopped the farmer on the way. They started a conversation with the farmer. After a while, they hit Likhwinder in the eyes with the pepper they had brought with them, took the cash bag worth Rs. 25 lakhs and fled from there. The incident took place between Tamoiya Chak-Mohri villages.
The farmer, who recovered a little, approached the police. The police registered a case based on the victim’s complaint and recorded his statement. Later, an investigation was launched into the incident. Sub-Divisional Police Officer Vivek Sharma said that efforts are being made to arrest the accused. The incident has created a huge stir locally.
