Those who looted pedestrians were arrested, caught within 48 hours of complaint
Dhamtari. The accused who looted passers-by between Muzgahan and Khapri at night have been arrested. Up on the report of Mohit Kumar Sahu. Sl. 167/24 Section 394,34 IPC. Under this, an offense was constituted and taken up for investigation. Taking the matter seriously, police station in-charge Arjuni took immediate action, the informant information and technical evidence and nearby CCTV footage were searched and the suspects were brought and strictly interrogated. Suspect Roshan Chawla, father Santosh Chawla, age 20 years, Risai Para. Dhamtari was taken into custody and interrogated strictly, who confessed to his crime and the accused also told that there were two children in conflict with the law along with him.
A mobile phone of Red Me company and an unnumbered motor cycle used in the incident have been seized from the possession of accused Roshan Chawla and his records in relation to the said accused are also being ascertained. Accused Roshan Chawla has been duly arrested and sent on judicial remand. The struggling child is being presented before the Child Welfare Committee due to two methods.
