Three members of notorious Bambiha gang arrested with two pistols, 10 cartridges
Chandigarh: Punjab Police claims to have nabbed three members of the notorious Davinder Bambiha gang, who were allegedly assigned the task of target killings in Punjab and Chandigarh.
These arrests were made in a joint operation of the state Special Operation Cell (SSOC), Mohali, and Counter Intelligence (CI), Bathinda, on Friday.
Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said on X: In a major success #SSOC, SAS Nagar and Counter Intelligence, Bathinda in a joint operation arrested 3 associates of Bambiha gang working on the instructions of foreign based gangster Lucky Is. Patiala foils their plan of target killing in SAS Nagar. Two illegal arms and ammunition have been recovered from them.

All three worked for gangster Lucky Patial, who operated from Armenia. According to information, the accused, identified as Jagjit Singh, Anmol Singh and Manpreet Singh, residents of Moga, were working on the instructions of gangster Lucky Patial, who allegedly operates the gang from Armenia.
Police said that two illegal pistols, one .32 bore pistol and one .30 bore pistol and 10 live cartridges were recovered from their possession. The police have also seized the motorcycle on which they were riding.
Police said the accused were caught following an intelligence input that they were planning to carry out some murders, including that of a lawyer, in Chandigarh.
Police said Jagjit was in direct contact with Patial and headed the module assigned to target killings. According to the police, the accused had brought arms and ammunition from Madhya Pradesh, some of which they also supplied to some other gang members.
