Tragic! Father-Son Lie In Front Of Train Approaching Them, Dies In Maharashtra
Mumbai: In a very tragic incident, a father and his son killed self by lying in front of a train approaching towards them in Maharashtra. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
The incident took place at Bhayandar railway station in Palghar district, around 32 kilometers from Mumbai. The incident happened at 9.30 am.
The deceased, identified as Harish Mehta, 60, and his son Jay Mehta, 35. They were residents of Vasai in Maharashtra.
According to the CCTV footage, both father and son were seen walking in the Bhayandar railway station and suddenly , the duo who were holding hands of each other lied on the tracks after seeing the approaching train.
On being informed about the incident, the Railway Police reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. They have registered a case of accidental death and launched an investigation.
The reason behind their suicide is yet to be ascertained.
