Truck and car collision, five killed
Lucknow (IANS). Truck and Alto collided face to face on Monday in Hussainganj police station area of Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Five people traveling in the car died on the spot in the accident.
Additional Superintendent of Police Vijay Shankar Mishra said that the car collided with the truck coming from the front while overtaking in Fatehpur’s Hussainganj on Monday. Five people including the car rider couple died in the accident. DM Shruti, SP Uday Shankar Singh reached the spot. Forensic team also reached for investigation.
He told that all the occupants of the car are residents of Ghazipur. The dead bodies have been sent for postmortem. The truck driver fled after the accident, whose search is on. Eyewitnesses told that the speed of the truck was so high that the car was blown away. Five people died on the spot.
