Two brothers and sisters died due to lightning

Bhadravati: Two brothers and sisters died after being struck by lightning in a paddy field at Hunasekatte junction in Bhadravati taluk on Tuesday night.

According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Biru and Suresh, aged between 30 and 32 years. They had gone to the paddy field to protect their crop as it was ready for harvesting.

He got hit by lightning and died on the spot. He was shifted to Taluk General Hospital. Bhadravati Rural Police has registered the case and investigation is underway.
