The court sentenced the murder accused within 7 months
Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi. The ADJ court has sentenced the father, who killed his son with a sharp weapon over a minor dispute, to life imprisonment. The court has given its verdict within just 7 months after the challan was presented.
The case is of Gaurela police station, where last August, father Rajendra Sathe alias Raju, resident of Ward No. 2 Sawantpur, Gaurela, attacked his son Dinkar Rao with a knife over a minor dispute, due to which he died on the spot. Gaurela police registered a crime under section 103 A BNS, arrested the accused and presented the challan in the court.
Hearing the case, Second Additional Sessions Judge Pendra Road Ekta Agarwal, while giving speedy justice, gave the verdict within just seven months, finding Rajendra Sathe alias Raju guilty in the case, sentenced him to life imprisonment and a fine of five hundred rupees. This case has been advocated by Additional Public Prosecutor Kaushal Singh.
