Two robbers arrested for looting petrol pump

Faridabad. Police Station Sector-31 in-charge Birendra Khatri and Police Station Sector-28 in-charge Vishnu Mitra along with their team have succeeded in nabbing two accused from the spot in the case of petrol robbery which took place at around 1 am on Thursday night. Police spokesman Sube Singh said on Friday that the names of Nishant and Vipin are among the arrested accused. Both the accused are residents of Badarpur Mithapur in Delhi. The police team received information about the robbery from the petrol pump salesman from the control room at around 1 am. The team of police outpost incharge Vishnu Mitra went on the spot. The police team nabbed 2 accused on the spot. Other accused fled from the spot with the vehicle. After searching the accused, 1 country made pistol was recovered from the accused.
A case was registered against the accused under sections of snatching on the force of illegal weapons in Police Station Sector-31 and arrested. During interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that the accused Nishant works as a gym trainer. Accused Vipin is a vagabond type of person. The pistol was recovered from the accused Nishant. When the accused was asked to produce the license regarding the pistol, the accused could not produce the license. During interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that the accused had bought the pistol from a person in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut for Rs 40,000 to commit the crime. Accused Nishant will be taken on police remand for questioning in the case and accused Vipin will be presented in court and sent to jail. The search for the other accused is on. CCTV footage of the area is being checked. The accused will be arrested soon.
