Vehicle entered house breaking iron grill, driver and helper arrested

Bhilai. After midnight yesterday in Smriti Nagar Chowki area, in front of Puri ITI on Kohka Kurud Road, a speeding truck hit the car coming from the front and went out of control and entered the house, breaking the wall and iron grill on the roadside. The family was preparing to sleep at the time of the incident. Hearing the explosion, the family members came out of the house. The lives of the people traveling in the SUV which was hit by the truck were saved when the airbags opened. After the information, Smriti Nagar Chowki police reached the spot and took the driver and helper into custody.

Eyewitnesses told that right in front of Puri ITI, suddenly at around 12.15 am, a truck coming from Rungta College at a high speed hit the XUV car coming from Avanti Bai Chowk from the front. The collision was so strong that the XUV car was blown to pieces. The occupants of the SUV suffered only minor injuries due to the air bag opening.

After hitting the SUV, the truck entered the courtyard of Mukhtar Ansari’s house, breaking the iron grill and the front wall. When home owner Mukhtar Ansari and his son Shaan came out, they saw that the truck had badly damaged their house.
