Tidel Parks in Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar, Erode: CM to lay foundation stone today

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will lay the foundation stone for the construction of Tidal Neo Parks in Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar, and Erode via video conferencing on Thursday (February 26).
The Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Department is developing three Tidal Neo Parks at a cost of ₹117.65 crore in Rediyapatti in Tirunelveli district, ₹38.72 crore in Kovaikundu village in Virudhunagar district, and ₹39.87 crore in Gangapuram in Erode district.
Each of these parks will create new jobs for approximately 600 IT professionals. Each will have an area of approximately 60,000 square feet, with a ground floor and three floors for IT, IDEAS, BPO, and start-up companies.
Chief Minister Stalin will lay the foundation stone for the Tidal Neo Parks to be built at these three locations via video conferencing from the Secretariat on Thursday.
The Tamil Nadu government, through a special purpose vehicle called Tidel Neo Limited, is undertaking several initiatives to develop mini tidal parks with construction areas ranging from 50,000 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
Accordingly, mini tidal parks have already been opened and are operating successfully in Villupuram, Thanjavur, Salem, Thoothukudi, Tiruppur, Vellore, and Karaikudi. Additionally, work is underway to build mini tidal parks in Tiruvannamalai and Namakkal districts.
Chief Minister Stalin laid the foundation stone for a mini tidal park in Nagercoil on Wednesday. It has been reported that notifications have been issued for the construction of mini tidal parks in Nagapattinam, Karur, and Pudukkottai, and construction is expected to begin soon.
