Villager murdered, Naxalites accused of police informer
Sukma: In Minpa village of the district, Naxalites accused a villager of being a police informer, killed him and threw his body on the road. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot and the body was sent to the PM.
Giving information about the case, Sukma SP Kiran Chavan said that Naxalites killed villager Korsa Kosa, resident of Silger, near Minpa under Chintagufa police station area, accusing him of being an informer. Korsa Kosa was living in Andhra Pradesh for a long time for employment, while Korsa Kosa’s marriage took place in Palaguda (Bijapur), where he had gone a few days ago to meet his wife and family.
According to the information received from the relatives, the Naxalites abducted the deceased a few days ago from Palaguda and took him with them, after the abduction police were informed about the murder by the Naxalites with sharp weapons at an unknown place near Minpa.
