When the drunkard refused to give liquor, he set the shop on fire
Visakhapatnam. In Visakhapatnam, police have arrested a person for setting fire to a liquor shop. This incident happened on Sunday, when the shopkeeper refused to give liquor to the person.
The angry person set the shop on fire. According to Pothinmallaya Palem Inspector Rama Krishna, the accused person, identified as Madhu, had gone to Madurawada area to buy liquor, but as it was closing time, the shopkeeper refused to give him the liquor.
Because of this there was an argument between the accused and the shopkeeper. After giving the warning, the accused left from there, but on Sunday evening he came to the shop with a petrol tank and poured petrol inside the shop. He also poured petrol on the shop employees and immediately set them on fire.
Seeing this the employees ran away from the shop. Property worth Rs 1.5 lakh was destroyed in the fire, which included computers and printers and many other things. The police have taken the accused into custody after registering a case against him under sections 307 and 436 of the Indian Penal Code.
