Workshop on Vikas Bharat Campaign concluded at Jobi College

Raigarh. Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Government College, located in the rural areas of the district, under the Vikas Bharat@2047-Voice of Youth campaign recently launched by the Honorable Prime Minister, describing the youth power of India as ‘carrier of change’ and ‘beneficiary of change’. A one-day workshop was organized in Jobi-Barra on Tuesday, 19 December 2023. The college management, through the NSS unit, called upon the youth to connect with the government’s action plans with their imagination and consciousness for the goal of a developed India by the year 2047. During this, Mr. Surendra Pal Darshan, Assistant Professor and NSS Program Officer of the college, said that in view of the rapid aging of our population today, this is a campaign to empower the youth power. Reiterating the words of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he described youth power as the vehicle of change and the beneficiary of change. Towards this, he highlighted the role of youth in the country moving towards the leading positions of the world in the coming twenty-five to thirty years. Also appealed to the students to contribute in the progress of the country under the Developed India@2047-Voice of Youth campaign. In continuation, Assistant Professor Mrs. Dr. Shweta Kumbhj gave a motivational speech giving examples of the success achieved through the long struggle of the martyred youth for freedom, including campaigns like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Digital India and combating Corona, and emphasized the strength of youth power and efforts. After recognizing him, he talked about retaining him in this campaign also. After him, Assistant Professor Shri Yogendra Kumar Rathiya, who came on the stage and addressed the students, said that you youth are the people who shape the vision of the country’s development. Your every suggestion, upon your participation, will further enhance the grandeur of the building of a developed India. In this, you will get to join the campaign as well as be a part of important responsibilities like expressing your reaction, taking feedback, discussing through debate competitions etc. and promoting positive changes through banners, posters and social media platforms. Will get a chance. Therefore, get up, wake up and make good use of your new energetic potential and take the country from developing India to developed India.
