Vikas Kandola-inspired Super 10 gives Bengaluru Bulls their first win of PKL Season 10
Bengaluru: Bengaluru Bulls won their first game of Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 by defeating UP Yoddha 38-36 in front of a packed crowd at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday. Vikas Kandola and Bharat both recorded 11 points each, although it was Vikas Kandola’s inspired first half that helped turn the Bulls’ form this season.
Four minutes after a slow and cautious start, Pardeep Narwal’s super raid gave Yoddha a 4-1 lead. Within minutes they had the Bulls, Vikas Kandola was the last man looking in. Facing the possibility of an all-out, Kandola produced a super raid to save his team from embarrassment and take them to within two points of the Warriors.
Soon after, the tables were turned as Monu made a super tackle to take out Narwal and with that the Warriors were back in control. The Bulls soon scored their first all-out of the game to take the lead and were ahead by five points at the break.
The Warriors slowly regained their rhythm in the second half, but the Bulls, with huge crowd support, made sure they never trailed at all. A second all-out came at halftime of the second half and they led 29-21. Huda’s Super Raid puts them even further ahead and the Warriors are soon in pursuit of Shadow.
However, in the last two minutes of the game, with 40 seconds left in the clock, the Warriors came alive with an all out. However, Bharat cleverly waited on the sidelines and ensured that the Bulls reached home to the delight of the home fans.
