Husband forces wife to spend night with friend, FIR registered

Bengaluru: A case has come to light in Bengaluru of a man forcing his wife to spend the night with his friend. The woman has lodged a complaint with the police regarding this matter. In her complaint, the victim alleged that her husband harassed and assaulted her over this incident.

Following the complaint, Basavanagudi Mahila Police registered an FIR and started investigation. The woman told the police that the accused was pressurizing her to spend the night with his friend. The accused, a resident of Basavanagudi area, had married the victim a year ago. He allegedly forced her to bring dowry of Rs 10 lakh to pay off his family’s debt.
