Drunk woman accused of gang rape
Bengaluru: A woman has alleged that she was gang-raped at a pub on Tuesday night, but police said the investigation has not confirmed sexual assault. On the night of 12 December, the woman was partying in a pub in Koramangala. He said he became intoxicated and eventually became unconscious. When he woke up, he found himself at least 2 km away from the pub. Suspecting that the group may have been violated while they were unconscious, the technician contacted the Koramangala police on Wednesday and requested an investigation. Following the complaint, the Koramangala police checked the closed circuit television cameras of the area and found no evidence of any illegal act. Police investigation revealed that the woman was alone in the pub and was drunk when she entered the pub. I walked about 2 km from the pub in a semi-conscious state and staggered twice before passing out. According to police sources, when the woman regained consciousness the next day, she immediately called the police and told them that she might have been gang raped. Suraste Deputy Commissioner of Police CK Baba told DH that he conducted a detailed investigation into the case but did not find any evidence of a sexual act. “We did not see anything and the same thing was shown to the woman. After the investigation, she felt safe and relieved,” he said.
