Lakhs stolen from former CMHO’s house, case registered
Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi. In the Government Housing Board Colony of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district of Chhattisgarh, 3 houses including former CMHO Dr. Nageshwar Rao have been burgled simultaneously. From where unknown thieves stole goods worth lakhs of rupees. The incident happened on the night of 15th August. The three houses which have been targeted by the thieves are all the houses of government employees. Who are on holidays for the last one week. Taking advantage of this, the thieves have committed the crime. Due to the victim families being out, a report has not been filed in the police station yet.
The Housing Board Colony in which the theft has taken place, has officers and employees of the district administration including top police officials. In such a situation, the way the thieves have targeted the officer colony simultaneously. It has exposed the police patrolling. The police called the cyber team, forensic team and dog squad to investigate the matter. There is a possibility of outside gang being involved in this. It could not be ascertained what all has been stolen from the houses. The police are talking about catching these thieves soon.
