Actor Vishnu Manchu injured during the shooting of the film ‘Kannaappa’ in New Zealand
Mumbai: Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu, known for films like ‘Ginna’, ‘Dynamite’, ‘Anukshanam’ and others, recently got injured on the sets of his upcoming film ‘Kannaappa’.
Vishnu is currently in New Zealand for the shooting of his film. On Sunday, the actor was shooting an important action sequence for the film when a drone used to take close-up shots hit his hand. The actor suffered serious injuries on his hand from the blade of the drone.
According to the source, the shooting of the film has been stopped and the actor has been taken to the hospital.
The source revealed, “Vishnu was busy shooting an action sequence for ‘Kannaappa’ when the drone operator lost control due to a signal anomaly, due to which the drone hit his hand and crashed.”
The source further mentioned, “He suffered multiple injuries on his hand due to the drone blade and was taken to the hospital. At present he is undergoing treatment in the hospital and is under the supervision of doctors. Due to this incident the shooting of the film was stopped. We are hoping for his speedy recovery. After being discharged from the hospital, he will take some time off from his schedule to rest and fully recover.
