Airtel introduces AI-Powered fraud detection solution for its users: Check what it offers
Telecom service provider Airtel has introduced AI-powered fraud detection solution for its users and this will be quite helpful while countering online fraud. The AI-Powered fraud detection solution is said to work on OTT apps along with communications platforms.
In case a customer tries to access any website that is flagged as malicious under Airtel’s security system, the page loading process is blocked and then a page giving details about the potential threat appears in front of them.
According to the press release of Airtel, the multi-tier intelligence platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) to protect its customers against scams as well as frauds. Airtel uses domain filtering across all platforms and then inspect Domain Name System (DNS) queries for their listing in a known blocklist.
The telecom operator has claimed that the service works across all platforms like emails, browsers, OTT apps, WhatsApp, Facebook and much more. The fraud detection solution is currently live in the Haryana circle.
Airtel’s AI fraud detection solution is just an extension of Airtel’s network-based AI solution that was meant for spam calls and messages detection to 10 Indian languages.
