‘Animal’ gets A certificate, 6 changes made including intimate scene
Mumbai: The wait of fans for the film ‘Animal’ starring stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol is about to end. The film will hit the theaters from December 1. It is getting huge advance booking. Meanwhile, the Censor Board has given A (Adult) certificate to the film. A total of 6 changes have been asked to be made in the film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
A major change in this is the romantic scene of Ranbir and Rashmika, which will now be shortened. In the film, Ranbir’s name is ‘Vijay’ and Rashmika’s name is ‘Zoya’. According to a pointer, the Censor Board said, “Modifying the intimate scenes of ‘Zoya’ and ‘Vijay’ by deleting the close shot up of TCR 02:28:37.”
Apart from the intimate scene of Vijay-Zoya, the board has asked to replace the word ‘Vastra’ with ‘Costume’ and to mute the word ‘Drama’. Dialogues like never and what are you talking about have also been changed. Earlier, while talking to The Hindu, Vanga said that he is happy that the film has got an A certificate, because he himself would not take his child to watch the film. The length of the film is 3 hours 23 minutes.
