As soon as the complaint reached CM House, Vishnudev Sai called the collector, know what action was taken then
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai suddenly called Bilaspur Collector Avnish Sharan. He said that, how will the work be done if someone has to come to CM House in trouble to get the land records corrected. Now the collector has suspended the Revenue Inspector (RI) and removed the Naib Tehsildar who was negligent in supervision. The matter is of Belmundi of Sakri in Takhatpur tehsil. Actually, Arvind Kumar Sharma, a resident of Belmundi, reached the Chief Minister’s Jandarshan on August 8 with his complaint. He told that, he got 3.92 hectares of land in the partition of his father. A separate paper was also made in his name for his share of land. He lives in Bilaspur. His father died in the year 2021. After which his younger brother has conspired with the Patwari and got the land in his name. Since then, he is making rounds from Patwari to Tehsil office to get the revenue records corrected. Even after requesting several times, the officials did not pay any attention. Due to which he had to come here in frustration.
After listening to the complaint, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai called Collector Avnish Sharan directly. He said that how will the work be done if someone comes to CM House to get the revenue records of his ancestral property corrected. He had instructed the collector to take cognizance himself and investigate the matter and take action. After the instructions of the CM, Collector Avnish Sharan appointed Joint Collector Manish Sahu as the investigating officer and sought a report. In the initial investigation, it was found that the then Patwari Suresh Kumar Thakur, who had committed the fraud, has now become RI. He is posted in Belpan. Similarly, Naib Tehsildar Rakesh Kumar Thakur has been negligent in supervision. The Collector has taken this matter seriously and suspended the RI. At the same time, Naib Tehsildar Rakesh Kumar Thakur posted in Sakri has been removed and attached to the Collector’s office without charge.
