CM’s statement: The government stands with the victim; called Dileep’s arguments misleading

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the government is always with the victim. Speaking to the media, he said that the government will provide all necessary assistance to the victim. Regarding Dileep, he said, “‘Dileep got justice, criticism of the government’s decision to appeal, they have no other work,’ said Adoor Prakash.”
“The public and the government are with the victim. I heard about UDF convenor Adoor Prakash’s statement against the government’s decision to appeal. I don’t understand why he gave such a response. Is Adoor Prakash’s opinion the official stance of the party? His statement is contrary to public opinion. The government has decided to proceed with the legal investigation in the case. Dileep has not informed me about any conspiracy against him and has not given any complaint in this regard. Dileep is saying all this to justify his actions. Action was taken based on the evidence received,” the Chief Minister said.
