Colors’ new show ‘Chand Jalne Laga’ is an emotional love story: Kanika Mann

Mumbai: Actress Kanika Mann, who plays the lead role in Colors’ new show ‘Chand Jalne Laga’, talked openly about the preparations done for her character in the show.

‘Chand Jalne Laga’ stars Vishal Aditya Singh and Kanika in the role of Dev and Tara. The story of the show traces the extraordinary journey of childhood loves who were once each other’s support, but fate separates them.

As the age-old saying goes ‘Love is the fire that burns the heart,’ ‘Chaand Jalne Laga’ is a blazing fire that promises to be the most passionate love story of the year.

Talking about her character, Kanika said, “I will be seen playing the role of Tara. She is a bright and determined young woman who puts on a show to hide her wounds.”

Kanika said, “She is making great progress in her career as an interior designer, and she is the peacemaker of her family. Underneath her calm appearance, Tara is haunted by memories of her childhood friend Dev.”

The actress said, “Tara is a confident and strong girl who is not afraid of anyone. As a child, she was afraid of almost everything, but over the years, she has become independent and confident.”

He shared, “I think the best preparation for an actor is to read the script thoroughly. This helped me understand the background, motives and emotions of the character.

Revealing her approach towards choosing projects, the actress said, “The quality of the script and the overall story has been my priority. I look for well-written, engaging and challenging roles that allow me to showcase my art and connect with the audience.”
